Wanted to write something other than Servatis, just to prove I can succeed...I failed...

 

I speak to you less and less,

Another tie severed

And I retreat more and more.

Another tie severed

I reveal nothing sacred,

Another tie severed

And I reveal everything ordinary.

Another tie severed

I bore you with my day,

Another tie severed

And I thrill you with fancy.

Another tie severed

I agree to nothing

Another tie severed

And I reject everything.

Another tie severed

I stand still in order

Another tie severed

To watch you walk away.

Another tie severed

This is actually a good poem. It really does kind of bring us into how you feel just a little.

And like Jester said, you can't get rid of us. Ever. Even if you stop talking to us online, we will find your house. And if you kick us out, we'll sneak in and kidnap you. After all, I do know where you go to college. (I love school e-mail addresses...)

I definitely don't think that it's emo. I saw it as a husband and wife slowly drifting apart, even if they try to pretend everything is normal. I don't know what you were thinking when you wrote this, but I really like it! :)

Aw, Isidora, no matter how much you try, you can never completely sever ties with us. Once you become friends with one of us, you get the rest of us forever! No matter how much you try, or don't try, you can never get rid of me, Elemiah, and Kantola. We're here right now, and we're here to stay baby!
