Bound to you

Bound to you

A Poem by  Ishmael V Huette

Numerous times, repeatedly I've came across this certain melody. As the leaves rustle and you hear the wind whisper the words begin to flow smoothly like water. I can feel your soul as our eyes sing their song, so very silent as the slithering serpent. While our souls intertwine, eyes uncontrollably mesmerized we become synchronized as one... Vulnerable as the broken heart that craves proper mending , delicate to the mind that begs for understanding.  While the melody fades and the sound of our oxygen intake becomes the distant rhythm , I become paralyzed at the sun like fire your soul sings to me .  Diminished like the absence of your presence follows the addicts addiction emotionally detoxing just for a simple essence.  While we focus on the inside of our eyelids our minds become more boisterous, as muted mimes we still understand the numb-like mind.  Creative as a serial killer, the mind becomes eager to be the upcoming victim. Investigate my thoughts as if they were pronounced dead to the unsolved murdered victim.
