DistractionsA Poem by Ishaan KumarThere are a lot of stumbling blocks in our way to success. This poem revolves around the distractions one faces during his teenager life.
I wake up everyday in good season
With a cumbersome oppressive mind, In a hope that today may be the last straw, In my life which is merely a dead of night. But aberrations, Biggest stumbling block in my sensations, No mind centralization Leading to absent mindedness. Your entry in my life, Made me live in a fool's paradise, And added fuel to fire of distractions in my heart. Back behind gossips, Betrayal from friends, Egoistic issues, Some other matters of contention, Which my incompatible mind was unable to bear. As a result it was going to burst, Because it was not fair. Adding insult to my injury, More obstructions in my sanctity, Gave birth to a new me, Ready to fight for the path to glory.
