Human FaultlinesA Poem by Isadora SwiftMy first teacher called disorders out 'natural human faultlines' Anorexia (Ana) Bulimia (Mia) Schizophrenia (Soph) Self harm (Cat) Suicide (Sue)
"Ana!" I'd scream when they said I was fat,
and soon by my side, there, was she sat. "Mia!" I'd call when the going got rough, She'd hold me and teach me how to look tough. "Soph!" I'd cry when she got in my head, "We are as one forever." she always said. "Cat!" I'd whisper for, when all else failed, Proving at last, I had finally, been derailed. At the end of the evening, When Sue called to say, "I'm here for you darling" I begged for her to stay. And said, when I had pushed through it all, "She's there to catch me whenever I fall" I think what people don't realise, Is that when your alone, Anything can get in your head, and call it their home. © 2014 Isadora SwiftAuthor's Note
