SwanA Poem by CierraThe ugly duckling became the swan.
Let me tell you a story,
As story of that girl you use to call fat. Remember her? Her glasses were taped, Her hair was in pig tails. All in all, your typical nerd. The girl that walked alone, Sat alone, Crying herself to sleep at night. Her daddy went to war. She didn't know it would be the last time they spoke. The pain she holds is greater than the world on her shoulders. Remember that girl? That girl you called fat? The girl you ridiculed going down the hall... She's wearing black today, Remembering her father's memory. He was all she had. I want to tell you a story. A story of a girl who's strong. A girl who holds the weight of the world on her shoulders. She's a dancer now, All to make her daddy proud. Remember that girl? You use to call her fat. And now she's a swan, Dancing to her own sad song. I want to tell you a story, A story of a girl who was in pain. The story of a Swan.
