Scared

I know I've experienced these types of feelings before

But once they've faded, it's like a forgotten memory

However, once they come back for someone knew, it's scary

I know I don't stand a chance 

Yet I can't help myself from feeling this way

It's like when you are on a diet and you know you can't have that piece of cake

But it doesn't stop you from wanting it

Learning how to trust again is new

It's so easy to speak to you

I don't understand why I feel this way

It's an odd feeling

I know that my heart can't take the pain of another heartache

However, I just can't help it. 

I'm scared

It sounds like you want to be with someone, but you are scared of pain and agony. You lost trust from whatever happen prior to this and you have become more scared and worried about the same thing happening again. But you still want it, something more. I can related to this. Thank you for sharing.
