Fairy Tale

Love can conquer all if you're only willing to fight for it.

I'll admit it's quite a risk
For as far as I can tell
Romeo and Juliet didn't end that well
But I'll still be tied to you
Through the fire and the pain
Because I know that without you
I won't find love again

 

It's so hard to be together
When we're being pulled apart
I never knew it hurt so much
To be missing half a heart
You're all I ever wanted
And you're all I'll ever need
And every day without you
Just makes it harder not to bleed
I know it's not a fairytale
But you still saved me from my sleep
And no matter what will happen
My heart you'll always keep
My dear, you know I love you
And you're forever in my dreams
We can make it through this
We're just tearing at the seams

I really love this poem, I have to admit that my favorite part is this,

"I'll admit it's quite a risk
For as far as I can tell
Romeo and Juliet didn't end that well
But I'll still be tied to you
Through the fire and the pain
Because I know that without you
I won't find love again"

The flow in this poem is wonderful, you've created a wonderful rhythm here. You haven't lost sight of the meaning, it was beautifully done in my opinion.
