There Is a Difference....

A man once said

"There is a difference between

being alone and feeling lonely.

Anyone can be alone,

but not everyone can feel lonely."

he thought I didn't understand yet

he was wrong again I did because I have

felt the difference first hand

I know what true loneliness feels like thus

I feel it everyday loneliness is when you can

have a sea of people around you and still feel

like there's no one there

and your in pain

I want to run away from loneliness

even thou I know I cant

for it lies deep within me
and comes up all the time I cant fight

loneliness

which is a shame;

their here but their not.

you have a lot a lot around you

yet nothing is near that is true loneliness

and not just being left alone

Well done! I feel the same way. Sometimes its wonderful to be alone for a while, other times I'm alone when others are around and that is somehow worse. But in general, I'm not lonely. Go figure!
