A Poem about Nothing in ParticularA Poem by Isabel25I wanted to write, but couldn't come up with a good topicSlow submersion in bottomless boredom, Mind seething, fingers itching. “Type!” hollers the blank document, As brain beckons to poetic genius. Piggy-bank of thoughts rattles, Skim... scan...skip! ‘Friendship’? overtly overrated,‘ Love’? slightly sickening, ‘Heartbreak’? verily worn out, ‘Depression’? too depressing, ‘Death’? utterly ultimate, ‘Family’? ‘Food’? ‘Fantasy’? ‘Naps’, maybe? Maybe I should just take one instead. © 2015 Isabel25Reviews
