Girl,

How long have you been waiting,

For your Prince Charming?

 

When will it dawn to you,

That he’s not coming?

 

For, princes are not born,

They are made, by you,

 

He doesn’t ride on a steed?

Make him walk beside you.

 

He doesn’t have shining armour?

Feel his strong, beating heart.

 

So what if he’s not rich?

Money can’t hug you back.

 

Does it matter, if he’s no Greek god?

Those kinds make you insecure anyway!!

 

So girl, Let go of the ‘Prince Charming’,

Instead, look for a human being!

the old folks Annie, having used to live in a time when relationships were easy to come by. At my grandmothers
funeral, who died just a few days after her husband of 50 years, the eulogist used the word 'plus'
if reference to the two of them. But plus is an abstraction. People have come to use plus as
a conjunction much like and. Sense 2 is considered to be an adverb by some. But if you live your
entire life and that 'and' or that 'plus' don't show up at your door then sit quietly for a few minutes
and take a deep breath. All will be ok anyway.

"look for someone human". When you find that someone and they make you smile (not laugh)

Thanks a bunch Dana, you are right. Life does not revolve around finding your partner after all. I guess you'll bump into him somewhere while you are too busy with everything else, which is fine by me :)

FINALLY. Someone has said it! And of course it's you, the simple girl. :3 Haha. This is a really good poem! It is actually one of my favorite!

It simply implies that life is not a fairytale, like how you see in all princess movies. This would simply open every girl's eyes to reality.

The earlier write I read "The Wall" was 'bout "No-Redemption". The starting of the write was excellent. And, as I scrolled down, I got this poetic-poetry of yous which's well attempted in every verse of words. I love the ending of the poem.
