..abide...

the fools who think hell has fire
chasin' none but earthly desires
they themselves worth that light
makin' their own flames to ignite

i myself have but too many a fight
busyin' my 'self' to all in my might
why not make knowledge our prior
wishin' understandin' to get higher

now this my strike to my very own
'soul yearnin' towards a 'self' cries'
how all this burnin' a heart defies

so if it just got through thy bones
perhaps thy souls are also as tied
though will we all know to abide
