Eating DisorderA Poem by whyamiherethis is theoretical, don't kill me“You have an eating disorder” She thought she misheard but it wasn’t absurd because though her family adored her She couldn’t help but feel her bones couldn’t hold her, they ignored “we’re Going to give her some pills we’ll send you the bills, please take your seat, sir” Her father rather than sit just hugged her quiet tears on her collar it was a barred blur The paper thin disposition was torn her mind was way out of order The back of her throat had been poked to try and cope, sure But did she really have a full on eating disorder? Now all the jokes, concerned glances from bathroom folks disturbed the purger The goal to obtain small hadn’t faltered but shame sauntered and claimed her © 2017 whyamihereAuthor's Note
