Watch silently as

A drop of mercury

Slowly glides down

Sliced in half by my spine

A metal exoskeleton of

Pierced pale flesh

Small blades protrude

Down the center of my back

Spiked, sharp and deadly

Fatally beautiful in the light

Beware the shadows

For I'm a creature of the night.
