Fangs

Fangs

A Poem by Rebecca Isherwood
"

Written 10-16-2008. Enjoy.

"

Reach out with

Forcep fingers

Towards a hormonal

Scent that lingers

Come into my

Barbed wire embrace

Biting flesh to

Feel a heart race

Drawing lines

In flushed skin

Spilling forth the

Warmth within

Taste of metal

Color of death

Lights shut out

Stolen breath.

I love this vampire poem. Very beautiful. Excellent work with this piece.

I think it's true what your poem is trying to portray, but I have always thought of a vampire as sexy and seductive. Isn't that how they get their prey? I need more seduction to this piece before the truth of his motive is revealed.
