Cemetary

A Poem by Rebecca Isherwood

Sharpened claws

Bloody teeth

Bats above

Bodies beneath

Creeping in

Hiding out

Wondering what

The comotion's about

Dark colored robes

Entrancing light

Chanting secretly

On a moonlit night

Candles scattered

By the tombs

Fighting back

The heavy gloom

Air so thick

You swim in it

A floating walk

To take it in

All is surreal

As events commence

Behind the blackened

Iron wrought fence

Cut off from

The rest of humanity

Who could understand

This strange insanity
