Lost in Stress

Lost in Stress

A Poem by Rebecca Isherwood
"

From years ago (not sure of the date) on a very aggravating day.

"

Stress erupts inside my body

Heightened awareness signifies

Helpless feelings, hopeless yearning

For the peace of days gone by

Lost, alone, I sit and ponder

How my life became this Hell

Wonder where my path went fickle

Wonder why, went dry, my well

Lost in stress I for ending

Lost in stress I wait for peace

From this Hell on earth I'm living

Death will bring me sweet release.
