Perfection

Perfection

A Poem by Rebecca Isherwood
"

My love of live music, and my addiction to concert-going. (high school era)

"

An invigorating feeling
Pushing forward hard
Retreating slowly
A constant to and fro
A vibrating loudness
Surging through the body
A familiar face
Among many with none
On the floor
Only an instant
Suspended in the air
Once again
Bouncing off others
A wall of flesh
A small gap, here or there
The speakers blaring
With all their might
The people moshing
In a perfect night.
