Not Sure Why

Not Sure Why

Mother mother mother
You need to stop your cryin
Brother brother brother
Stop goin to war an fightin
Sister Sister Sister,
You can now stop trying

     It’s not something
  You can understand
          Trust me baby,
You are now the man
  Lean in a little more
   Give me your hand
Do as I tell you to
We can rule the land

Hurry up to wait,
Grab us a shovel
Find the perfect place
Then work a double

  Built or break, just dig
Everyone gets a grave
     They’re already lost.
There’s nothing to save

Trust me pretty baby
I’m not lyin, they’re dead
The nightmare escaped your head

It became a real and tactile thing
Now we’re all we have left
We can steal what we wish
There’s no such thing as theft
      No government surviving now
              There’re no leeches left

Goodbye, father, mother brother
We bid thee farewell, sad kin
Dehydrated from too much crying
Killing is no longer a sin
All the love must come
From somewhere deep within

         We must come together
Work together, slave together
            If we don’t, we’re lost
            We’d be dead forever
    We can’t have that happen
      I can’t sense the weather

Everything just seems dark
Not because I’m blind
But the sun is hiding
We’ve not the time to find
Our daily bread is waiting
Waiting for the grind

I’m not sure what to say
I wish I knew what to tell you
Sweetie it all comes down to
      The truth, we’re screwed.
        The other planets won’t
           Sustain life that’s new
           Foreign countries and
     All humans have died too

The line "Grab me and you a shovel" sounds a bit off to me, kind of a bump in the rhythm but great work other wise...be careful for your comma usage because i think you might be missing one or two but i dont like to nit-pick

Great work

KEEP ON TRUCKIN'!
