March 8th, 2006. We're all allowed to be a little selfish sometimes. Other times it's just necessary to look out for yourself, because every body should be their own #1.

All in All I've figured it out Totaled Life, I'm crazy it seems Only possibility left Nobody ever knows what I mean. Just because I'm not "normal" I don't buy into fads Because I'd rather Express myself than get mad. Now they know it's true I'm not at all simple I'm not backwoods lady Cookin for all my kinfolk. I'm not a typical anything For me, they're missing a label I'm straightforward and blunt Place all my cards upon the table. What do I have to hide Wouldn't do me any good I live life with no regrets I've done the best I could. Isn't my fault that Money wasn't always there Can only help it so much There was friendship to spare. Hospitality, Kindness, Kinship The stuff that really mattered Like stickin' up for strangers Housin' kids who were battered. Shared what little I had Help where and when ya can Keep each other strong Stay ahead with a fallback plan. That's the trick of the trade The Spice of Livlihood You'll have it made If only you would. Learn to play it right Lay back, take it in Make the most of what you got Appreciate what you're given. There are few freebees Because a handout is No Hand-up in the world Gotta have get-up-and-GO! Motivation to achieve It has to be your own When you understand fully You'll have grown. Enough to know Each path is unique Copycats, Followers and All Shadows won't keep. They'll each Fade away Without a track or trace But rest Assured You'll never forget my face. I'm alive even when Sleeping, Awake even when Dreaming, I am forever completing My lifelong eternal being.
