Walk into a crowded room that goes dead silent, then have them all laugh you away.
Wake up alone to know that even your cat hates you.
Threaten to move away from home only to be told you were a mistake anyways.
Tell your college dorm roomate jokingly that you want to die and watch them rejoice in the idea od a single room.
To see the two sillohettes at your funeral and realize that one is the gravedigger and the other just admires your coffin.
Wake up to find it was only a dream, but that makes it no less true.
To know that your so-called friend simply tolerate your being around.
Figuring out that your paycheck is the result of a hot-tempered parent chewing out your manager about the minimum wage so that everyone at work hates you now.
Looking at all of your pets and think of how short their lives are and that they would rather be alone.
Realize the fact that they will live longer than you.
Get into your car and drive as fast as you can to escape it.
Rejection will never stay behing, it's yours forever.
Pushing the pedal to the floor even before you do a 180 in mid-air.
Watchout for that tree, the electrical pole or even the pavement.
See the lights and hear the sirens? Even death Rejected You
How to Feel You Know Rejection.A Poem by Rebecca IsherwoodWritten some time ago, I have it posted on Deviantart too.
