White House DownA Poem by The Iron HorsemanA supportive message to our American cousins in these troubled times.
How did it come to this? A nation humbled and in distress. A leader proven worthless, No apparent form of redress.
A bigot building a wall, To keep the less fortunate out. Spending billions of dollars, With his military-industrialist louts.
A liar whose story changes, Each time it is proven false. A bully whose blustering rhetoric, Provides the tune for his last waltz.
The world can do little to help you, This disaster is of your own making. You must find the solution yourselves, Although the path may be heartbreaking.
Just know that we wish you well, We will be here when you need us. You cannot choose your family, But you can certainly choose your leaders. © 2017 The Iron Horseman
