FreedomA Poem by The Iron HorsemanA paean to the open road.Riding down the highway, Wind blowing in my hair, I don't know where I'm going, I'll know when I get there.
The road in front is endless, The road behind is gone, The moment's all that matters, Just let the ride be long.
The iron horse is roaring, Like a giant jungle cat, The speed is getting faster, I'm flying like a bat.
The engine roars like thunder, It's pounding in my ears, Life falls away around me, As I go screaming down the years.
Death rides along beside me, I can feel him in my bones, But as long as I keep riding, He can't claim me for his own.
