Streets And Lights

Streets And Lights

A Poem by Irla Charoibam
"

Going off the grid seems appealing; but it's not as easy as it sounds.

"
Streets And Lights

Swallowed by the memories;
City thoughts in heart - soul meaning, great pain!
Someone, somewhere understands.
Home, sky, sleep.
As for nights and headlights,
And for morning lights,
For a relaxed head, to me, similar finds.
Yellow and limited;
Gripped in the glow, I am the only light.
Thinking fear times,
"In what sense?"
Inside the warmth of café,
I stared at the streetlight for a long time.
My coffee steam, lost;
'Cause dreams ask.
Echoed the crowded streets, breathing sadness and distant shadows,
Calling you home from miles away.
We'd say goodbye to the city, then I know what sound is there.
For another similar.
The universe is stuck in a dull hum.
