Class

Class

A Poem by Winter
"

Well you see I'm sitting here in class and I'm supposed to be doing something so ummm I'll do something I guess.

"
Tick-Tock said the faceless clock
moment by moment the class inches to it's end
The sub waits to get paid
the angry man dreams of cattle fences

Think thought said my trailing off mind
plenty of problems for sure
what ought I be doing right now
missing the voice more and more

click pop say all the buttons around
masterful works forming in heads
maybe this one will pay
They all must be read

chit-chat say the student and the teacher
can't take this place
what may i write now
oh please give me a mace
