Willows

Willows

A Poem by Deana Marie
"

Essence

"
Burning with a small flicker of hope.

Plucked from the fruit tree.
Keep up with me.

So gypsy.
Wild and free.

As the moon moves the sea.
Tragedy feeds the warrior in me.

Like Bonnie, there's a hunger in me,
For the Divine eyes that swallow me.

You're forever the novel I couldn't quite complete.

The end.

There is an awful lot of world out here to wander and so few to share it.
