Something Beautiful

Inspired by a great friend.

Sun shines the the magnolia trees,
Flowers of every type are in bloom.
As you feel a cool gentle breeze,
Staring out from your east facing room.
Blue eyes like sapphires in ice,
Watching the birds flying by your window.
The scents of spring are so very nice,
As they swirl and dance around your nose.
There is a rare beauty in this season,
And it can also be found in you.
Like the sound of laughter for no reason,
Or a heartwarming smile or two.
This is what life is all about my friend,
And you breathe life into me.
So close your eyes and take it all in.
For your eyes dont need to be open to see.
