the broken heart city

I wrote this is in 2005. I have not edited this since then yet.

The Broken heart city a city were
2 lovers stay separated by fate one
goes to war and never returns home
Her broken causes the sky
to turn to black the buildings
begin to crack and fall apart
this is the tail that I now tell you.
Dark & Gary so the day melts away
Crumbling, falling apart due to a broken heart
Just black &white maybe tan runaway from here
Nothing ever stays not good nor evil just ever
Changing as the wind once great now ruin people
Left this place slowly this city will be hidden by
Mother Nature humans will forget this place of
Great sorrow Joy ripped from its feeble hands like
Child from its mother’s arms it’s been so long since
We had visitors here in the old city seemed to say
Without saying a word 4 people came hear to find
Answers a place once dormant now alive a story
Of a broken heart in a empty room that seemed
So full only one thing in the room is a jewelry
Box what’s in said lets see 1 necklace with a blue
Heart on a sliver chain the city now in shambles
With no hope it is empty once more and another
Foot print is added to the cities rich history 4came
Only 3 leave now the world knows the truth of the
Broken heart city by the sea slowly disappearing into
The sands of time soon only that room their will be
Nothing else ever lasting nor does it ever stays forever
You may never know what can happen when a heart
Brakes or what damage it can do so be careful.
