Princess Arriana

I lay in bed
To place my niece to sleep
She’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen
She has these wild curls on the top of her head
Her bright eyes can make the sun scream
I pray to never lose her
I promised her I would never leave

Is that true?
Is she in my forever?
I hope she’ll remember me
The world being hell at our feet,
she’s my soft heaven
She takes a piece of me everywhere she goes
God, please protect my lovely niece.
