Everything and Nothing

Everything and Nothing

A Poem by Amy
"

A lighter poem of mine. Some quizzical thoughts on life.

"

This isn't anything worthwhile.

Maybe it's an explaination

That I'm a writer, so of course I'm disorganized.

Or maybe it's a reminicence

Of how the green shirt used to be my favorite

But now I hardly ever wear it.

Maybe it's a fantasy

Where I throw all of my thoughts into the air

Like a handful of pebble

And then run shrieking so they don't hit my head.

Or maybe I'm lying on my back

Realizing how amazing it is to breathe

And laughing because the heavens change as quickly as anything

And I don't know what shoes to wear with my new dress.
