World's best tea

World's best tea

A Poem by Irene_asteris

Remember if you ever feel lonely
Just go to the cafe down the alley.
You'll see the waiter down the enter',
Wishing you a very good morning.

We serve all kinds of tea
Whether you drink the green tea or taste the latest milk tea.
And if you don't have anything to start with
Then we have the world's best tea.

A glass so elegant, approaches you,
Smells so sweet, tastes so well
And if it feels bland, then just add sugar,
Or spice, whatever you like.

And still if the magnetic taste doesn't suits you,
Then write a review with your name on it, and
We'll make something better for you
From the thoughts and secrets that bother you.

And if it pleasures you, then
Tell your friends and family 'bout the tea
That there's a cafe down the alley,
Where you can get all kinds of tea, even the world's best tea.

Author's Note

Irene_asteris
Its in human nature to gossip spread rumours especially when one is bored when even the most trivial things about another can become a topic of gossip and if it is too trivial to care then welcome the rumours which like tea. Tea always has the two common ingredients no matter what kind which is water and the tea leaves ofcourse, a tea with the leaves is just water so you always have to add some tea leaves to the water and then boil it to make tea and still if it the taste doesn't suits you then add some milk and sugar. This poem serves as a metaphor for gossip and irony for rumours and how a rumour spreads or gossip is made when one feels lone and bored want to be served (talk) even if it comes at the cost of making one self into a rumour or a topic of gossip without knowing or any kind of acknowledgement.
