The Final Showdown (PART 2)

The Final Showdown (PART 2)

A Poem by Irene S

The Strange Life of Sara Thomas..

Up in the era.. nearing the end of the 20th century,
In the month of November,
A past life's lost glory..

A girl was born..
To decode a quest and query.
About to discover a life,
With no peace..no merry!

Some thoughts always in her mind..
Few innate..

Few- divulging..with the passage of time.

Days passed by..
And her thoughts knew no destination;
For, now they transformed-
Into some uncanny visions..

Haunting her first..
The visions were a curse to her life,
But soon, it became the only thing-
Which could make her thrive!

A woman beneath the ocean..
In a white gown,
Along with a ship wreck..
Under the Atlantic, deep down!

Tried, Sara a lot..
To join these visions' fragments..
But every time she tried-
It always led to disappointment!

Giving up hopes..
She closed her eyes;
Was all this unreal?
Or her own past life..?

Are these haunting visions..in her life- perpetual?

Sara knew deep inside,
The question itself is rhetorical!

Is it the moment without a rhyme?
Or is it Cathy's words?
Taking Sara's situation..
Back in Time...... ||
