Start of a new era.. end of one..

Situation will change the time,
with Catherine's return.


Going back in time..in 1912
In that huge ocean liner,
Where Catherine, Alex and Shane dwelt!


For reaching Philadelphia,
They boarded the Steam..
Little did she know
For her, it would be the end of her dream..


Alexander, with gloomy eyes..
Came near her..
"What makes you so unhappy?"-
He asked her with fear..


How could she marry him?
When she loved Shane..
Harder than anything it was..
For her to pretend!


Alex knew what he had to do..
Preventing things getting worse..
Had to make Shane witness-
The Oblivion's Curse..


In that moonless night of April Fifteenth;
Waiting for Shane to come on B deck..
Alex stood patiently..
Longing for the interim!


Shane came by,
And the bullet pierced his chest..
Seemed like Cathy's life came to an end,
With no answer to her Quest!


For the next moment,
The ambiance was just a lull..
Nothing else could be heard
Except for the melancholy of the Sea Gull!


Sitting broken, She remembered her own words..
Time won't change the situation..
But situation shall change the time-

Was all she heard!


The liner broke to pieces and started sinking..
Thus, a journey ending..
With no deceiving..


Alex's eyes searched for her..
At the end of a burden..


Something was awaiting him..
In no form of a Guerdon!


Unrecognized and fallen..
She went deep under the ocean..
Wearing that elegant white gown,
With love and devotion..


Her green eyes, wide open..
She pictured her beloved's memory..
No longer she had to feel,
The human emotions- of Rage and Agony!


Just a few seconds more..
And the time passed by..
She slowly closed her eyes forever..
And the shore was greeted by a tide- so high!


Years passed by..
Seasons came and went..
Nobody could yet fathom-

The Atlantic's grief and lament..


She would come again,

And complete her story..
Hath her beloved..
And win her glory!


Avenging the devil..
The ending of her pain..
But would in every era,
ALEX still stand..?
