LipGloss & LetDown

Waking up in the morning, you begin to dress.

You decide to day, you will look your best.

You apply your eyeliner, and your shimmery glitter.

You put on a tight shirt, to make you look thiner.

You curl your hair, wavy and smooth.

You're looking good, and thats the truth.

 

Now you're at school, the boys stare in "awe".

But the boy you like is the only one you saw.

You begin to skip over to were he stands, 

but only to see him holding someone else's hands.

She is beautiful, so perfect and skinney

No makeup applied, no glitter that's shimmery.

You see them smile and wave good bye.

While they kiss and hug, you begin to cry.

Today was the day you were to shine,

But in your heart, you're whining inside.

The day you thought you wouldn't frown,

turned out to be like lipgloss and letdown.
