Take a Deep Breathe

Take a Deep Breathe

A Poem by Edurne

Science talks of space being a non-thing,

This, even air can’t comprehend,

Staying away from its incepting chaos,

Like electrons from its atom’s nucleus,

Forming a unified whole; a displaced stare,

Or a sure hand of radiation,

In angled light; a pretty thing,

“A breath escaping from your smile”.

Imagine stairs opening a book,

Your favourite character than descending from them,

Following its laid out instructions,

Your mind transported to another dimension,

            One where anything is possible,

Imagination and creativity at its finest,

                        Alongside with originality,

“A breath caused by a book”.

What if air had a colour?

If so, blind would have a whole new meaning,

And small beauties would remain a mystery,

            This question killed the cat,

Or at least ten of its nine lives,

                        Invisibility would be the impossible,

                        Finally accomplished,

“A breath has a colour, if you look close”.
