Small Beauties

Small Beauties

A Poem by Edurne

Subtle details of our world everyday,

Each individual blindly relying on them,

We have taken them for granted,

We became passive like rain over a shoulder.

This is a poem dedicated to the small beauties;

An introspective grasp of the small, fine points.

We could not answer bare,

Or could not bear to answer,

Hiding behind the safety of their comfort,

In equilibrium with

The Safety of their omnipresence,

Balanced in two different cases.

There was no wind, only air,

To tell a story with every exhale

How irrational is this?

To personify something

That is dead,

Or not living
