Assumptions

Assumptions

A Poem by Chaotic_Writer

You take from me

All the words I spoke for you

Twist them; Use them; Bury them

To watch my heart drag beneath your shoes

Yet my soul has found

Every beat in the ground

And now,

You're lost because of me

I take from you

All the assumptions you had of me

Hold them; Crush them; Toss them

To watch your pride sink beneath our sea

I am living each day without you

As you remember the days with me...
