Twisted Fairy TaleA Poem by IonaFaith
She had the most hideously exquisite form,
It made me fall into such a shallow love. Woefully easily tormented by the throws of passion. Her sublimely succulent lips dripped red As though with blood, And the ridiculously embellished emeralds set into her eyes Shone with a white hot rage. But still I was filled with a vile hope That someday she would cast those jewels in my direction And they would find something they liked, So that maybe I wouldn't have to be alone In my disastrous love affair. © 2013 IonaFaith |
