True love

True love

A Poem by Ioana Mihai

True love can’t stay silent
It won’t remain a secret island
Can’t hold nor can’t hide it forever
One day it would burst out even louder
Singing to the world entire
About it’s tormenting heart and fire,
In love with passion and desire…
Letting out all dreams and hopes
All the beautiful thoughts
Spreading all around
Like billion butterflies…
Maybe just one of them
Will live long enough
To get close to you on time
To tell you my true love again
By touching your hand,
Then glitter in your eyes
So you would see
And feel in your heart
A love from afar…
Without limits nor time
A love just like mine,
A seed that I wished
It would grow that grand
Bigger than the world
In your heart as well.
So I won’t stay alone
On this other side
Just to dream of your love
If would ever be mine…
You better tell me now
Should I keep loving you
Or I better try
To make it go away
And forget that we met.
Is this destiny
Or just another lie
That I’m telling myself
To keep the belief
That true and pure love
Still can exist
Not just in my dreams.
