Walk on byA Poem by InyourshadowSometimes better to have never loved and lostDarkness swallow me drowned me in your fallen stars, illuminate no more my painted smile that hides the shadows of my scars. Self inflicted and bore with shame no blade ever cut a heart so deep, for as a moth I tasted your flame and came down hard a broken heap. Souless shell spent and cast aside a one time fix and failed thrill, licking the wounds of injured pride eating crumbs of affections overspill. Turn back the time and walk on by as best we had never met, for less the pain of asking why can I forgive yet not forget. © 2012 InyourshadowReviews
