Drawing Breath

Drawing Breath

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

The act of kissing

"

Let slip the chiffon veil
from silken skin
rewarmed
by wine and candles flame,
as you taste again
your lipstick
second hand
upon my trembling lips
made mute
by your intrusive Tongue..
as we draw breath
from one anothers mouths.

Lightly sensual, short but a pleasure to read. It was a night respite from some of the darker things I have been reading tonight. Like a breath of fresh air in this poem as well!

First: watch your grammar. "anothers mouths." "anothers" should be "another's." That could easily be an error while typing. After "Tongue," watch the use of your periods. I don't know whether to think that you accidentally typed an extra period or were trying to type an ellipsis.

Second: this was amazing as usual. I am not surprised that I am pleasantly surprised by this. So, don't be surprised by my surprise. :3
You have such a way with words. Your portrayal of lust was so sensual and luscious and delicious yet perfectly controlled and teasing.

I could be jealous of you, you know.

Very sensual. I liked this so much better than the last. Well done. Keep on penning.

I can imagine a romantic scene as two lovers are enjoying the finest of desserts...each other.
