Playing Gentle On My MindA Poem by InyourshadowLove can never dieYour shirt still lays crumbled at the foot of last nights bed, and my ears are still ringing from the words that went unsaid. Thr scent of sweat still lingers in the creases where you slept, and the pillow stained forever by the secret tears you wept. You swore you'd never leave me and as long as I draw breath, your love will still surround me till we are joined once more in death. Your passing but a moment between morning kiss and sweet goodnight, so until again you hold me I hold your image close and tight. © 2011 InyourshadowReviews
