As day is born from glorious night
as shadows dance in morning light
that reach their arms to hold you tight
on this your special day.

As friendship formed from the love of rhyme
we shared as oft as we had time
in conversations so sublime
on this and every day.

Adopting you as my baby sister
whom I told when er' I missed her
of all the times her name I'd whisper
on these the best of days.

So happy birthday dear sis I swear
this shadow bro is always there
to show you just how much I care
on this and all our days.

Such a beautiful ode to someone you love, at times ppl think you cannot love the oppsite sex unless in a romantic way "other than family" but at times friends and ppl we meet online become more like family than our very own.
