In Dreams I held you

In Dreams I held you

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

What dreams were made for

"

Hush now let your dreams enfold you,
as tenderly as once my arms.
Let them bring to you sweet comfort,
and ease the burden of the day.
May they bring us ever closer,
measuring the miles in stolen breaths.
Venture forth into sweet oblivion,
where I await to make you mine.

Short, sweet, and well written. I love the idea of the phrase "measuring miles in stolen breaths." Nice job.

This sounds like the perfect place to be. Short but sweet, like a wondrous confection. Well done. Keep on penning.
