Bats in the BelfryA Poem by InyourshadowFor a contest about what animal are youI am the bat that hangs around, and gets about by aid of sound. I flap my arms to scare the dawn, and through the day just stretch and yawn. I have a hate for all things light, and much prefere the shadowed night. I love the music of Nocturne, and dawn chorus I frequenet spurn. So remember this when you seek me, you'll find my friends in my belfry. © 2011 InyourshadowAuthor's Note
