Damn the Stars

Damn the Stars

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

Just a painful piece that needed to be written

"
Damn the stars and rend the night,
break the heart and steals it's flight,
cast me down and blind my sight,

for tomorrow comes too Soon...

Scar the moon and watch her bleed,
and as she dies don't intercede,
for without light were lost indeed,

for tomorrow comes to soon...

Split the silence with a scream,
shatter my hopes destroy my dreams,
for every night it truely seems,

that tomorror comes to soon...

Bind the sleepers without shame,
that never choked upon your name,
nor ever thought am I too blame,

that tomorror comes to soon...

So go just leave the void is mine,
a place where lights afraid to shine,
and I have no use for wasted time,

for our tomorrow never came...

This felt a bit akin to sweet William Blake rhymes! Awesome stuff. The beauty of the piece totally over-shadowed the pessimism of the content, odd how that works huh!

tomorrow never comes because when it arrives it magically becomes today and then there is a new tomorrow born. I say live in the moment and be the best you, you can be!

So very very sad. I am so sorry you were feeling the need to have to pen such unhappiness. Please return to your happier pieces soon.
