Unloved in Life, Unmourned in DeathA Poem by InyourshadowA Halloween warning
A skeletal figure enters stage right..
In death have I known the loneliness that a broken heart must feel. Yet I in permanent state of breaking down have no chance to ever heal. The grave hath swollowed all light and warmth and left me cold and so alone. For here at the end of days in solitude the ache of the heart is known. Turn away the moon that bids me rise and scare the stars like skittish birds. Take a look and see this sad demeanor and for loves sake heed my words. Run to them with open arms and smiles draw them close in every breath. Or you too will know the pained emptiness of one as I unloved in life unmourned in death. © 2011 InyourshadowAuthor's Note
