My Sweet Butterfly

A heart given wings

Alight with me sweet butterfly,
upon rose petal wings.
And share a taste of heaven,
from secluded mountain springs.

Arise with me sweet butterfly,
and steal away the stars.
And speak no more of leaving,
as we heal each others scars.

Ascend to me sweet butterfly,
draw nectar from my lips.
Finding their the answer sought,
as from us the past now slips.

Arose by any other name, would still smell as sweet,
so let our hearts as one my love, now forever beat.

Just came across your poetic works and gotta say that I'm one that's definitely impressed by such crafted words of emotional romantic peaks.
Your lines reach what many would call mentally stabling as you read them and then pulled in by it's grasping hold.
The use of somewhat changed repeating first lines of each of the first three stanzas evoke a sense of wonder and guidance into the beauty that is of a butterfly's take off. It's truly great poetry that demands the reader to take a metaphorical trip through the romance as seen through the eyes of the very indepth personal-like narration that is seen as an essence of eye sinking mysticism.
No criticism need, for the poem flows without flaw and with work of that of a talented artist who sees the world as but a metaphorical core for deep understanding of beautiful things which touch every person's heart.
