The Bubble Dragons

The Bubble Dragons

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

Another attempt at childrens story telling

"
There is a land called Wash Rag Bay,
where the Bubble Dragons roam.
In search of sponge on which to lay,
and feast on shaving foam.

A cake of soap with toothpaste cream,
all sliced up on their plate.
Is more than they could wish or dream,
as they can hardly wait.

A jelly made from styling gel,
with mousse around the base.
For how they love the sight and smell,
and most of all the taste.

With gravy made from aftershave,
for roasted rubber duck.
A dish for which they often crave,
and beg for from their cook

The party now is in full swing,
with fun new games to play.
Like pass the parcel tied with string,
charades and Simon Say.

They danced in circles on the beach,
upon bath crystal sand.
there breathing deep the scent of peach,
in this their faery land.

The dinner bell rang out to say,
that it was time to eat.
And all the Dragons cried " Hurray,
this day cannot be beat ! "

With the Shampoo Cola flowing,
to toast the birthday girl.
As beneath the stars a-glowing,
we leave this special world.
