Taste Sensation

Taste Sensation

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

Taste can add so much to the act

"

Hast thou er' tasted such sweet pain,
so lightly flavoured by the eyes.
That poureth down in prismed rain,
from cloudless and impoverished skies.

Hast thou er' tasted want and need,
so softly painted upon lips.
That runeth or' with lust and greed,
from whispered mouths and willow hips.

Hast thou er' tasted all I am,
in taint of sweat on aching skin.
With proffered pearls from open clam,
to decorate my form with sin.

Hast thou er' tasted such delight,
well babe you will with me tonight.

You rendered me speechless this wee hour of morning, as I could not sleep, how wonderful to stumble in and partake of your beautifully written poetry.

No adult needed.
That runeth or' with lust and greed,
from whispered mouths and willow hips.

It was almost a guilty pleasure. ;)

This is elegant, classic poetry. I loved oldpoetry.com and when they changed it my heart was broken. I am sorry about the loss of your home, I know the pain. You write wonderfully!
