AsylumA Poem by Inyourshadowjust a taster of what we want...freedom from our painLet loose the hours in falling sand and watch the clocks unwind, set aflame the calendars and free the burdened mind. Let go the reigns and let them run the horses all set free, as we forget to bolt the doors that keep your thoughts from me. Let slip the buckles and the belts the padding and the pain, and leave behind the empty bars where whine has left it's stain. Let down your hair to hide the scars that others may not see, but I have veiwed you inside out my mirror self of me. © 2011 InyourshadowAuthor's Note
